Good Steer

Spent a nice lunch date w my daughter. She loves the mac n cheese and french onion soup. The chicken caesar was awesome. The staff was very friendly, pleasant and attentive. The decor needs some refreshing

I like this place, but not enough to visit every year. Food is country style with decent portions, service is excellent.... so is the parking.... but I can’t help but feel that I’m paying big money for “just ok” food. Did I mention the service is excellent? Just checking. However, Overall, nothing special about the place, and when you leave with your pocket significantly lighter.... it can be a hard pill to swallow. It’s decent, it’s worth a visit, but I suspect it was a better food experience 20 years ago. Overall, good but not great. Yep, I’ll eat there again, maybe in a year or two.

First time going and the food was delicious. Chose a medium rare "Dream Burger" (dont know the full name >.<) but came with melted cheese, bacon, sauteed onions/mushrooms, onion rings and mashed potato (can choose many toppings). Was full of flavor and soon going back for more.

Been going here for years. Always happy with the burgers, fries, and onion rings. (Er... Onion straws?) They no longer provide pitchers of cheese dream sauce, but that move may have cumulatively added years to my life.Bring your appetite and maybe don't eat anything else for the rest of the day. Your waistline will thank you.

The good steer has always been a part of my life since I was a kid. My wife and I love coming here. It’s a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great staff, great customer service, and always accommodating. Good steer has never let me down. Many thanks to all of your employees.

Family owned and operated for over 50 years. There is something to say for that, and their food speaks volumes for itself. Burgers have always been a staple here. The tastefully tender is another all time great. Some staff has been here 30+ years. You simply cannot find food, service, and a family friendly environment like this anymore. Here's to many more years (and visits) to The Good Steer!

I have been a customer here for years. The place smells delicious the moment you walk through the door. Its clean and the service is never disappointing. The food is still good which hasnt changed however, unless I missed it on the menu, I miss the hot turkey. The fried onion rings are still a favorite. I feel the prices are a bit high.

Went for the first time ever after having driven passed many times. Old time lodge feeling with the wood decor but the place looked clean and the food was delicious. Our waitress was really nice and attentive as well. Those beer battered chicken fingers were the best, so tender. Brisket grilled cheese was yummy and my husband enjoyed his huge hamburger very much. Will definitely come again!
